Juventus Manager Allegri Shocks Fans with Bold Tactical Move Against Frosinone

Ahead of their clash with Frosinone, Juventus manager Max Allegri is weighing up the possibility of implementing a new tactical system, particularly due to Danilo’s ongoing ankle issue.

The match is scheduled to kick off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium on Sunday at 11:30 GMT.

Allegri has announced his squad for the fixture, which notably excludes players like Danilo, Moise Kean, Mattia Perin, and Mattia De Sciglio, although Alex Sandro is included.

With captain Danilo sidelined due to an ankle injury sustained in the previous 2-2 draw with Verona, Daniele Rugani is expected to step in as his replacement in defense.

Despite experimenting with the 4-3-3 formation during training sessions this week, Allegri appears inclined to stick with the tried-and-tested 3-5-2 tactics, opting to deploy Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa up front.

Potential alterations to the lineup could see January acquisition Carlos Alcaraz earn his maiden start in midfield, potentially replacing Fabio Miretti.

Frosinone, on the other hand, will be without key players such as Giuseppe Caso, Anthony Oyono, Marvin Cuni, Kevin Bonifazi, Mateus Lusuardi, Sergio Kalaj, and Riccardo Marchizza.

However, there is some positive news for Frosinone as Nadir Zortea, Luca Garritano, and Fares Khedjemis return to the squad. January signing Isak Vural has earned his first call-up, with attention also drawn to Juventus-owned players Enzo Barrenechea, Kaio Jorge, and Matias Soulè.

Probable Line-ups:

Juventus (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Rugani; McKennie, Alcaraz, Locatelli, Rabiot, Cambiaso; Vlahovic, Chiesa

Frosinone (4-3-3): Turati; Lirola, Okoli, Romagnoli, Valeri; Gelli, Barrenechea, Mazzitelli; Soulè, Kaio Jorge, Harroui
