The incident unfolded during a journey from Bangkok to Munich, with the man and his wife on board, as reported by Swiss-German outlet Blick.
Eyewitnesses Martin and Karin Missfelder, seated behind the couple, observed the gradual deterioration of the man’s health. Karin, a nursing specialist, noted concerning symptoms such as chills, profuse sweating, and rapid breathing.
Despite repeated advice from fellow passengers and crew members, including Karin’s professional insight, urging him to seek medical attention, the man remained reluctant to heed the warnings. Even the intervention of an onboard doctor provided only temporary relief.
The situation took a dire turn when the man began coughing up blood, sparking panic among the passengers. Despite the efforts of flight attendants to assist him, the man succumbed to his condition, leaving a somber atmosphere aboard the aircraft.
